Branding project completed in collaboration with the Atlanta Hawks marketing team.
I successfully concluded a collaborative branding project with the esteemed marketing team of the Atlanta Hawks. My role involved close collaboration with senior management to provide strategic brand direction, particularly in the development of a distinctive wordmark. Throughout the entire process, all stakeholders actively participated, ensuring a comprehensive approval process that received acclaim from the marketing department. The approved brand elements were seamlessly integrated into various marketing materials, including jerseys and other promotional items.
Working with my hometown NBA team was truly an honor, and I had the privilege of giving back to the community through my contribution to the 2014 Atlanta Youth Basketball Summer Camp. The final logo for official use draws inspiration from iconic NBA logos of the 80s - it incorporates a basketball goal shape, bold typography, and vibrant primary colors, resulting in a visually striking and impactful brand representation.
